Imaging Technologist

We are looking for a highly-motivated, well-organized, technologist to support Pathologists in critical tasks needed for our clinical and scientific operations. The individual shall serve as an assistant to Aureon's Pathology team and perform certain image processing tasks. Primarily, they shall be involved in identifying and outlining lumens in digital images of prostate tumor tissue. Other responsibilities shall include trouble shooting, assisting in digital image capture and other tasks as needed. Excellent information management, time management, and verbal and written communication skills required.

Qualifications:

* A strong knowledge of cytology and histopathology is required
* Must have experience or training in microscopic evaluation of slides
* Experience with prostate tissue is preferred
* A basic medical and clinical knowledge and vocabulary would be desirable
* Must be computer proficient with a PC and Windows environment
* Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Notepad, and Outlook software
* Must be able to interact well with others across multiple departments
* Must be detail oriented and well organized
